CAST Research Office: Assessment Panel Study

The college plans to begin a research study examining the post-graduate development of CAST students' careers at the one, three, and five year marks. Data from this study will be examined to find areas of improvement within the college's programs. Read more about it in the February 25, 2000 issue.

Marlene Mawson, a professor emeritus, received the National Association for Physical Education in Higher Education (NAPEHE) Distinguished Service Award for her work on numerious national boards and committees. Read more about it in the January 14, 2000 issue.

Mark Fleisher, of Criminal Justice Sciences, is the recipient of the 1999-2000 CAST Outstanding Researcher Award. Fleisher has received national and international recognition for his work. Read more about it in the November 24, 1999 issue.

Robert Rossman appoints faculty committees to examine curricula for information technology students as well as develop a standard for technical competencies for all undergraduates at Illinois State.
