Incoming freshmen without an established Illinois State University grade point average must meet the university minimum for admittance in good standing.
New transfer students without an established Illinois State University grade point average must have a GPA of 2.2 or higher from the transferring school to enroll in the the Information Systems major or the Telecommunications Management major or minor. Students wishing to enroll in the Computer Science major or minor must have a GPA of 2.3 or higher.
Internal transfer (current ISU) students must have a GPA of 2.2 to enroll in the the Information Systems major or the Telecommunications Management major or minor. Students wishing to enroll in the Computer Science major or minor must have a GPA of 2.3 or higher.
New freshmen, transfer students, and second bachelors students may declare a major on their application provided they meet the requirements stated above.
Current ISU students may pick up a Change of Major/Minor form from the ITK Advising Office (OU 302). Once the major/minor change is approved, the advisor will enter the change of major/minor into the system. Students are notified when the application is accepted or declined.
Students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with the ITK Advisor to discuss the sequences offered, their choice of major/minor, and to set up a course of study. Each second bachelors candidate must have a plan of study on file with Evaluations. Advising appointments may be made by calling (309) 438-5186 or stopping by the ITK Advising Office, OU 302.
