The ITK Undergraduate Advising office is available to all ITK majors and minors who have completed over 24 hours of coursework and those students interested in learning more about the ITK program, or in becoming an ITK major or minor.

Both walk-in times and appointment times are available. Times vary each week due to other university scheduled events. Students are urged to make an appointment to plan schedules, discuss the ITK major or minor, or complete a graduation check. During registration, advisor availability will be increased and scheduled appointments will be limited to 15 minutes. During registration advisors will focus only registration for the upcoming semester. Office hours for the current term can be found here.

You may schedule an appointment or learn about walk-in hours by calling the ITK Advising Office at (309) 438-5186. You do not need to speak to an advisor to schedule an appointment.

The advising office provides:

  • information on academic programs in ITK
  • help with developing a plan of study by semester
  • checks on individual progress toward graduation
  • initiation of waivers and substitution requests
  • reminders of important dates
  • up-to-date information on course schedules and class availability
  • waiting lists for full ITK classes during registration
  • scholarship information and forms
