Articulation Guidelines

Parkland Community College and

the School of Information Technology at

Illinois State University

Graduates of the School of Information Technology at Illinois State University complete a minimum of 120 hours of of study. Of the 120 hours, 66 hours may come from a community college, while the remaining 54 hours must come from a four year university. In addition, 42 hours of the 120 hours, must be upper division courses from a four year university. At ISU, upper division courses are courses numbered 200 and above. Please be aware that courses at the 200 level coming from Parkland cannot be included in the required 42 hours of upper division courses.
