TRANSFER
FACTS
|
·
Students are encouraged to apply for general
admission to ISU after completing 30 transferable semester hours.
·
After the student applies for admission, subsequent
transcripts for every term while still enrolled at BHC should be sent to
the Admissions office at ISU.
·
Students who successfully complete approved courses
(grade of C or better) at Black Hawk College do not need to repeat the
classes at ISU.
·
Find out how Black Hawk College courses transfer to
Illinois State University and other colleges and universities. Course Equivalency Tables
·
Usually, a transfer student entering the ITK major at
ISU will complete a bachelors degree in 4 -5 semesters.
- ISU applies 66 hours of coursework completed at
a community college toward a Bachelors degree.
Completion of the
following course sequence will allow the student to earn the Associate in
Arts degree (64 credits) and transfer seamlessly to the School of
Information Technology at Illinois State University.
