The Grant Incentive Program (GIP) rewards those faculty in CAST who have received external funds.

Grant Incentive Program (GIP)

A total of $150 in travel funds will be given for each funded project (not per faculty member), and there is no limit to the number of GIP awards a CAST faculty member may have between July 1 and June 30.

Submissions are evaluated based upon the criteria listed below:

• The grant must be submitted to an external agency by the Research and Sponsored Programs (i.e., attach a copy of the blue form with the application).

• The funded grant must include indirect costs.

• The funded grant total (including indirect costs) must exceed $10,000. Matching funds from the department, college or another external agency will not be considered in the grant total.
